Ad Altare Dei classes for 7th - 9th graders and Pope Pius classes for
9th – 12th graders can start in October on Sunday evenings. Please
contact Joe Illencik if your Scout would like to attend (330)782-8915

Would like to make a motion that any Scout that would like to attend
the JLT (Junior Leader Training) classes could do so and that the Troop
would pay for it. It is approx. $20.00. Motion is seconded and passed.
Jimmy Evans will take this training and become the Junior Assistant Scout
Master. Motion is seconded and passed.
GEORGE GRIM – District Committee
Scouts need to follow proper procedure when applying for Eagle Scout.
They should receive a packet after they become Life Scouts. They can
go to either Dallas Heston or George Grim for help. These steps are
clearly spelled out in the packet and need to be followed so that their
application and process is approved.

November – Turkey Shoot and Eagle Court of Honor, November 7-9
October trip – detailed by Rich Hoffman
Scouts will leave Oct. 10 and drive to Camp in Allegheny National Forest
On Sat. they will hike approx. 4 miles (easy hike) to Rim Rock/Kinzua
dam with tents, sleeping bags, etc. Sunday morning they will hike back
and come home. More details to follow.
Rifle, Shotgun and Astronomy badges are being scheduled

SHELLY WINEBOLD – Advancement Chair
Popcorn sales start now, runs till Monday, October 27. November 15 is
the pick up date.
All Scouts who do not sell popcorn owe $35.00 for buyout. Any Scout who
sells over $200.00 gets half the profit and the troop gets the other
half.

If parents have a problem with something with the Troop, please contact
Tony directly, do not have your children tell his son your complaints.

We had a complaint about how some of the Scouts were dressed at the Fair.
If Scouts are wearing their uniform they are representing our Troop and
the Scouts. Please do not wear jeans with holes, athletic shorts, gloves,
or any hats other than the Boy Scout hat. Nice jeans, khakis or nice
jean or khaki shorts should be worn.
